The Swaledale glamping tent sleeps six in a king and two twin rooms. Sunset verandas have comfortable outdoor furniture with woollen rugs, fire cauldron and gas BBQ. The lodges look out onto dry stone walled sheep pastures with the moorland beyond.
The splendid safari lodges have hot running water, luxurious Hypnos beds, roll top bath and shower with fluffy towels, and an open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area around the wood-burning stove.
In the meadows round the farm we have plenty of room for games and sports, including a less-than-smooth cricket wicket in the summer. The stream which runs through the camp runs off the Kinder plateau and is a children’s dream with waterfalls, rockpools and bilberry banks for when hunger bites.
Maps, guides, and games are available in the tented lodge, and further information at Reception, and store cupboard essentials and bathroom cosmetics are provided so you don’t have to pack them. Paraffin Tilley lamps add just the right amount of light in the evenings, to make the open plan lounge area feel cosy alongside the roaring log burner. Just bring clothing and food. Your wood is delivered every morning for your fires, so you get to relax while we do the work.
