The Keeper’s Flat is the smaller wing of the Shooting Lodge, built in 1881, recently refurbished with a glazed wall and views up to the hills beyond.
It has two ensuite bedrooms with modern beds with Hypnos mattresses, antique furniture and crisp white linen so you can fall sleep to the sound of the moorland stream. Hypnos mattresses, crisp white linen, and towels are provided. A cosy open-plan well equipped living/dining/kitchen area has kitchen store cupboard essentials provided, together with a washer and diswasher, Wi-Fi and TV.
Just down the lane is Edale village with its pubs, cafes, national park visitor centre and train station (connecting Sheffield and Manchester).
