The larger wing of the Shooting Lodge has a dining room in the former pony stalls, with seating for 36 and a modern kitchen adjacent. A bar and a lounge also provide you with plenty of alternatives for all members of the family to find their comfort zone, and then come together for a dance, or a grand dinner.
The large hall in the lodge is wheelchair accessible. There is an integrated speaker system throughout with docking station for your own playlist, and immediate access to outdoor meadows for sports and games.
The focal point downstairs is the grand gritstone hall, with its 156 horse-shoe chandelier and minstrels’ gallery.
Two peaceful bedrooms with crisp linen and Hypnos mattresses; modern beds with antique furniture and sleep to the sound of the moorland stream. The bathrooms have underfloor heating to keep bare feet warm, and towels are provided. After a night’s peaceful sleep explore the beautiful countryside by just stepping outside your door. Just down the lane is Edale village with its pubs, cafes, national park visitor centre and train station (connecting Sheffield and Manchester).
